Sorry to ask such a dumb question but where are the mp3 files for Bebop Calisthenics 10A etc…?
I’m probably just overlooking it.

DanI’ve been thinking about buying the latest version of Band in a Box after trying a friend’s setup. I think they’ve streamlined it a lot in this version. A concern I have is which (or how many) of the real tracks you’d have to get? It looks like the sets cross over at times and I can see feeling like you’d have to buy a number of additional sets to get the variety you’d want for jazz playing.
Does anyone care to share what specific sets ie. drum, keys, bass etc. would make for an entry level, good or great set of real tracks for backup? Do people just rely on certain styles with Midi backing? Not great sounding compared to the real tracks I didn’t think.
Thanks in advance!Thanks for the post and the response. I hit something of a “wall” a few months back on the templates myself. Similar questions but a bit earlier in the course. I’m trying to learn more sight reading on the side but I think my lack of experience with that and the increased complexity of the rhythms got away from me. Good to know that it just comes down to more hacking away at it and that the “progress” is in the repeated programming. I agree, the earlier rhythms seemed to be more in my grasp an memorable. I notice that there are some other online lessons that will only cover 2 or 3 jazz rhythms through changes to get people started. What we are doing, I think, is fairly complex by comparison.

It’s at the Ithaca School of Music. I think people might enjoy seeing this though I suppose it’s always possible to muddy the waters by looking at other things. Hope everyone has a good day – keep practicing!
