Richie,
I found a few errors in Bebop Calisthenics 10.
– Bebop Calisthenics 10 Errata
– Page 47 -> Motif 4
– Second measure under F7alt, the intervallic reads (#5 #4 3 #5). It
should be (3 #9 b9 3).– Page 48 -> Motif 5
– Third measure under G7alt, the intervallic reads (5 b9 1 b9). It
should be (b7 b9 1 b9).– Page 48 -> Motif 6
– Second measure under Cm6, the last note in the four note group is an A
which is incorrect for the pattern used here (The first and last notes
should be the same). It should be a G. However, the intervallic above
it is correct.
– Third measure under G7alt, the intervallic reads (b9 #9 5 b9). It
should be (b9 #9 b7 b9).– Page 49 -> Motif 8
– Second measure under F7alt, the intervallic reads (#5 3 #5 3). It
should be (#5 3 #5 #11).
– Fourth measure under F7alt, the intervallic reads (#5 3 #5 3). It
should be (#5 3 #5 #11).– Page 50 -> Motif 1
– Third measure under Dm7, the third note intervallic is 6 and the note
under it is Bb. The note should be B natural. Or, if the Bb is correct,
then the intervallic should be b6.– Page 50 -> Motif 2
– Second measure under Ab7#11, the intervallic reads (b7 1 9 b1). It
should be (b7 1 9 b7).– Page 51 -> Motif 3
– First measure under Fm7, the intervallic reads (b7 5 6 5). It
should be (5 b3 4 b3).
– First measure under Bb7alt, the intervallic reads (#9 1 b9 1). It
should be (b9 b7 1 b7).
– Second measure under Ebmaj7, the intervallic reads (7 5 6 5). It
should be (5 3 #4 3).– Page 53 -> Motif 7
– Third measure under Dm7, the third note intervallic is 6 and the note
under it is Bb. The note should be B natural. Or, if the Bb is correct,
then the intervallic should be b6.
– In the third and fourth measure under G7alt and F7alt, in the
intervallic you use a b2 instead of a b9. Although technically correct,
I think you generally use a b9 in these cases. I thought I’d just point
it out.– Page 57 -> Motif 7
– Third measure under Dm7, in the second four note group, the intervallic
reads (1 11 b3 9). It should be (11 1 b3 9).Whew! I’m tired now. On to the next Module.

My humble apologies and thanks for pointing that out! Wow…never had that many in a row and have no clue how I missed so many. The truth is that this is a fairly new course and you are among the first to cover this section so you will surely encounter some bugs here and there.I will try to get all of these corrected and have new uploads ( I guess including the video as well), in the next few days. Other than this have you found the previous sections okay?
Thanks for your feedback…
February 28, 2018 at 10:38 pm #7247Mark, just wanted to let you and everyone that reads this post know that I just uploaded a corrected version of Calisthenics 10 (Vol 2).
Mainly it was the interval script that had a few errors. I realized I didn’t flat the 6 on the Dm chords (aeolian) in the script. Both the regular notation and tab seem to be correct. Thanks again…

Thanks for the quick turnaround.
I can imagine that putting this stuff down on the page has got to be very error prone, so it’s not suprising that some errors crept in.
I need to go back to Calisthenics 9 and take a look at it again. I thought I ran into something that repeated more than once. It may have been my imagination, but I’ll go back and see if I can find it.
Thanks again.

Sorry to ask such a dumb question but where are the mp3 files for Bebop Calisthenics 10A etc…?
I’m probably just overlooking it.
Cheers,
