Thanks that helps. Just wanted to make sure I am not developing bad habits.

I am only to opus 4 and it is kind of like what you say. Initially, it is easier to figure out the timing using a constant hand motion with downstrokes on the beat. Once I have memorized the tune, that seems no longer necessary.
