I’m trying to take bebcal #4 and apply to all shapes.
So I’m starting with pattern 1 making it a minor which is east enough. For some reason the pattern 4 dorian and pattern 1 dorian seem almost identical, I must be doing something wrong.
If I start on the first string we have Ch Ch to b3 which is frets 9,10,11 just like dorian patter4 to the b7 correct? then it’s a little different on next 2nd string Ch Ch b7 frets 9,10,11 again? then to the 5 on the 2nd string. Then Ch ch b3 which would be 4th string frets 11,12 and 3 string fret 8
Does that seem correct so far?
