What I started doing was looking at a couple or Etudes and taking some of the vocabulary and mixing it in with my own stuff and pentatonic stuff as well. Also been using some of the bebop calisthenics in the while improving, need to get this stuff ingrained….I’ve been listening to a lot Jesse Van ruller and I’m starting to hear all the enclosures he uses…I guess that all do but some of it is so fast its hard to tell:)
