Pick vs Fingers

Hey, Richie!

I’m already on Module 4 and trying out the bonus exercise on Opus 9 with chord melodies. I’ve been doing the whole course with picking but chords seem more natural to play with fingers or maybe fingerpicking. What’s the best technique to use for this course? Is it better to use a pick and develop that or should I start fingerpicking for this use case?

I don’t suggest pure picking for chord melody. I recommend either fingerstyle or hybrid picking where you apply the pick to the lowest note in the chord and your remaining fingers to the rest. I use both depending on what I am going for and what the piece requires.
