Ear Training Objectives

Hi Richie,

I’m still in Module 1 and found what you do in the intro to the Ear Training Lab (singing what you play simultaneously) and incredible, complex but beautiful skill. Is the objective for the whole VOL 1 Ear Training section to be able to do what you just did there or just recognize the different intervals for a given key? Are we supposed in Module 1, to not just recognize the major 3rd, perfect 5th and minor 7th but also sing some phrases simultaneously with these intervals or this will be targeted in later modules?

Great section, I would love to give it more emphasis on my day to day routine.

I would just try and master what is prescribed there as it will get more complex in the following modules.
